Small Molecule Targeting of TSG101
The FGI-102 program is focused on developing a small molecule inhibitor of TSG101. This program builds upon a rich scientific literature and internal research, which shows that TSG101 is essential for the propagation of HIV, Influenza, RSV, Herpes and many other viruses. The lead candidates were identified using structure-based, rational design. The FGI-102 has already demonstrated impressive abilities to block viral budding and release and can protect animals from otherwise lethal viral infections.
