FGI-110
One Antibody to Combat a Broad-Spectrum of Respiratory Infections
The FGI-110 program is developing fully human antibodies for the treatment or prevention of respiratory infections.
The program targets a host molecule, Nedd4, which is "hijacked" in cells that have been infected with a broad spectrum of different respiratory viruses including influenza (both seasonal and pandemic), RSV, PIV and other viral pathogens.
Functional Genetics' core discovery engine, Random Homozygous Gene Perturbation (RHGP), identified Nedd4 as a target for a broad spectrum medicine to treat or prevent infection by respiratory viruses.
